Every student should keep a resume as soon as she starts high school. The resume will help keep track of every activity, award, honor, leadership position, job including duration, year, and time commitment. 

ForWord highly recommends starting a resume as soon as 9th grade starts and putting all certificates in a folder for reference later on. 

When you start the college application process, you'll need two resumes: a traditional one and one for the Common App. ForWord has templates below.
