Sending Test Scores

Many colleges require some standardized test scores. For those that do, you'll need to get an official copy of the test score to the college, even if your application asks you to hand enter the scores into the application. You will only need to mail official versions of the ACT or SAT at the point of application. You can send your AP, SAT subject test, and other scores after you choose the school you'll attend.

SAT Scores

You'll need to go to the SAT test company, College Board, and log in with your login/password that you used when signing up for the test.  You'll need to enter the school code for each university, pay a fee of around $13 per school, select which testing date you'd like to send, click, pay, and send. 

Allow up to two weeks to send these scores.  There is also a rush option that costs more. 

Super Scoring

Superscoring is the process by which colleges consider your highest section scores across all the dates you took the SAT or ACT. 

So if you did better in math in June but better in writing in September, the college will only see the June Math and the September Writing scores, giving you the best possible score.
